WHAT:
Sacred Ceremony at a stone cairn (apacheta) site on Mt Tam . . . to honor and thank the mountain and earth for the energy and wisdom it holds. Bringing offerings and gifts in the spirit of "ayni", or sacred reciprocity.
We will join the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition (Peruvian shamanic) community in cleaning, repairing and gifting the apacheta.
There will also be a ceremony to create a community "despacho" (prayer bundle) in celebration of Spring and all of it's blessings.
LOCATION:
Rock Springs parking lot in Mt Tamalpais State Park

BRING:
- Trail appropriate shoes/clothing
- Natural biodegradable gifts i.e. incense, tobacco, spices, waters, feathers, stones, shells, etc.
- Music-making instruments, medicine songs and poems
- Light food and drink for picnic in the meadow

Continuing on our Sacred Journey to the Four Directions of the San Francisco Bay Area - Bringing gifts and requesting permission to collect stones for building new Apachetas.
